My last pair lasted over 20 years. It was time for my second pair. Light weight. Warm. Love my Mukluks.

They really are the warmest boot! I got an 8 wide and there is plenty of room for extra socks and warmth. Its a plus that they are cute too!

Comfortable, sturdy, warm. Great for walking on uneven trails through the snowy woods. I think I could walk forever in these mukluks. Thank you.

Why have I not had these all my life? I love winter and being outside, unfortunately my feet paid the price through my earlier years. My feet have always been cold, numb and uncomfortable and I just endured, UNTIL NOW. These are toasty warm, soft, cozy, light, fluffy pillows for my feet. I do not want to take them off. Amazing!

Excellent warm boots! Especially with this (not yet winter's) icy cold temperatures and wind chill, these boots are needed.

This is the second time that I have purchased a pair of Steger Mukluks. The first time was probably thirty years ago. At that time the bottoms of the boot were a different makeup. And that materiel deteriorated rather quickly, eventually turning to goey mess. I loved the feel and warmth of that boot, but the bottoms soon became all but un-useable. I talked to the home shop and asked if there was a way to re-sole the boot but got a terse "no" as a response with no suggestions about what to do to improve the situation.

I checked things out (mostly through word of mouth) and found that others had a similar problem with the soles of the boot (including my wife and a couple of her friends). So I tried to extend the boot's life--I had heard that using Neopreme repair "glue" would help, and it did for awhile but that made for poor traction and eventually just peeled off.

At any rate, I am glad to see that the mukluks that I got from Steger this time have a completely different sole than the first generation boots from decades ago. I was disappointed in the company's lack of customer support back then, but am hopeful that things have changed over the decades.

Sorry to offer a less than wonderful response on this, but back then, I was on a meager budget and the mukluks were a significant investment for me and I was more than a bit perturbed that no solution to the decaying sole was forthcoming from Steger. It obviously has taken me awhile for me to let that go, and buy another pair.

Wore these in ND when it was well below zero. So warm and comfortable right from the start. A little tricky to get on the first few times but well worth the money when you are out in that crazy weather.

This is my second pair of Steger Mukluks. They are THE BEST! They are so warm and comfortable and made in the USA. Make sure you buy the waterproofing spray to protect them!

These boots are fantastic! So warm and versatile- they will be my new everyday winter boots. AND they just replaced last pair, which I wore for 10 years. Steger mukluks are the real deal. I'd recommend them to anyone!

This pair replaces the pair my mom bought me in 2005. The older pair's bottom doesn't hold up to the abuse my fat tire bike pedals dish out. I have used them heavily for 20 years, rebuilt the bottom 3x The new Arctic sole is vastly superior. I have put on 100 miles in these new mukluks, in pretty cold weather, and my toes are intact. Frostbite injuries have made my toes my Achilles heel in cold weather. The Steger Mukuluks are the solution. I can't imagine living through an Alaskan winter without my mukluks.

Everything about these are perfect! I’ve wanted a pair for a couple of years now and can definitely say they were worth the wait! I was a bit nervous that they wouldn’t fit correctly, but I made sure to use the sizing guide on the website and it was 100% perfect. We just went through a cold snap of -30’s here in Alaska and not once did my feet get cold outside, even for extended periods of time. Best investment I’ve made into cold weather gear in my years of Alaska living!
