My toes get cold very easily. For reference, I use insole warmers when Im riding my bike if its in the 40s...I like competing in winter ultras, walking 40, 80, 160 miles in the winter. Ive tried a lot of different methods with insole warmers, toe warmers, body warmers taped to the top of my shoes, gaiters, overboots, etc, nothing worked. These boots are incredible. I use a light Wright double walled base sock, thicker wool sock, and Super Feet Red Hot insoles with these Yukons. Just finished a 30 mile test walk at -30F. Not even a hint of chill, and no sweating feet either. Havent had to use the thicker wool inserts yet. Maybe at -50F... : I got fitted in Ely. If I was getting a pair without help, I would have gotten a size bigger. However, the lady helping me said no, you get this smaller size. Im very glad I listened to her. They essentially fit like very comfortable shoes.
Wide Range of Temperatures
I’ve had these for over ten years. These and the camuks are my go-to when temps get below freezing. The camuks are great for ice fishing and slush but I prefer these for all-around use as they breath better. These are the best snowmobile footwear I’ve ever had and the best all around traction when it comes to ice. Yes there’s still a risk of slipping but the soft rubber tread allows me to ease myself over the ice by feeling the terrain as I move, unlike the hard rubber sole footwear that others make. I do wish these were as tall as the camuks for keeping snow out but they still work.

Cold Weather Go-to Footwear
I bought a pair of these in 2003 after canoeing the Boundary Waters from your store in Ely and have used them every winter for ice fishing and winter camping in Maine. With a thick pair of hand knit wool socks I have never been wet or cold in these boots! Still using the original liners after 18 years and I might get around to replacing them at some point. I use them exclusively for snow and ice and never on bare ground or pavement. Cannot say enough good things about these boots!

Its -40 celcius here in Sakha Republic now, and yukon mukluks do keep my feet warm and comfortable all day. Also they look great. Be sure to order wide size if youre planning to wear additional socks

As good as promised
I can be outside in -27 with wind chill all day with warm feet!
Warmest boot I own
They just arrived but after one wear can tell that theyre the warmest and most comfortable boots Ive found. Last year I had a bad injury due to a fall on the ice. These boots have a soft rubber sole with deep grooves for great traction. Should have bought them a year ago! The only thing Im not sure of yet is the buckles. When I first tried to adjust them I wondered if they were only decorative but now Im getting some degree of adjustment. Hope theyre fully adjustable because it really improves the fit.
