I bought these with a Christmas bonus back in like 1996 or so, when money was very tight. Honesty, these are the best boots I have ever had. I wear them generally without socks in 15-20 degree days here in Michigan when the snow is up to below my knees. My feet stay warm and dry in my 3 mile treks. They are losing a little of the waterproof sole but when I called to see if they can repair - they suggested some products. I have had them probably close to 25 years and they have held up extremely well. Treat yourself!! Instead of xc skiing and snowshoeing I can get along very well in deep snow in these. LOVE THEM!

BEST BOOT EVER!

I bought a pair of these to use for winter horseback riding in sub 0 temps in Alaska 12 years ago. I used the water and snow repellent spray on them. I have a wide foot and thick calfs, they fit perfectly, I even have room for a pair of wool socks in them. Ive worn them every winter for 12 years, heavy use, they still look the same as they did the day I pulled them out of the box. If they get mud on them, let it dry and just brush it off. Super easy to care for.

I bought these several years ago. Not only are they a great look, but I can wear them in the snow without socks! My feet are toasty warm.
